If you would be keen to work at one of the leading mining organisations globally we have an opportunity within their Autonomous Engineering team. The role of the Mining Systems Application Support Analyst’s is to support their bespoke Autonomous Mining Systems technology.
Details about the position
- FIFO based role with an 8 days / 6 days off swing.
- 12 hour shifts either 5 am to 5 pm or 5 pm or 5 am (24 hour support)
- Work within the Autonomous Control team onsite
- Main part of role is troubleshooting application issues
- Have the support of a team of 20 to 30 developers at head office in Perth
Skills needed
- Minimum of two years experience in Application Support
- Scripting background
- Extensive Linux exposure
- Containerization and Docker knowledge
- Any experience with Network Latency would also be beneficial but is not essential
- Able to work under pressure (the role is working autonomously)
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn
