Tip Top Bakeries is currently seeking applications for a Apprentice Baker to join our team at our Bendigo site, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of the Apprentice Baker Position is to:
Be trained as a Baker for our 2024 Apprenticeship Program based at our Bendigo site
Attend training with the trade college/university as part of our Apprenticeship Program
After the first year, you will be required to work on different shifts across shifts, all days of the week and across the different production operations with qualified personnel
Hours:
Full time - Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm for the first 12 to 18 months
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Completed Year 11 or 12 preferably VCAL candidates
Mechanically minded with strong numeracy skills
Sound communication skills (both written and verbal)
Passion for food
A "can do" attitude and quick on the uptake
Own transport and possess current driver's license
Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to completing the Apprenticeship Program.
Preferably candidates who have completed VCAL, Year 11 or 12 are encouraged to apply
