Apprentice Baker
Accepting new and 1st, 2nd or 3rd year applicants
Learn the skills and gain the qualification for the in demand trade of baking.
To be successful you must:
- thrive in a hands on fast pace environment

- be available for flexible rostering
- have a strong work ethic and be a team player
- have a vocational standard or above in English and Math
- be physically able to handle reasonable and continual weight movement
You will:
- receive and store product
- weigh, mix and cut pastries
- weigh, mix and cook fillings
- assemble products
- cook finished products
- order ingredients
- learn to time manage and schedule your work areas
- TAFE modules at campus and in house
Toward the end of your apprenticeship you will learn supervisory skills and more detailed management skills.
