About the roles
We are looking to expand our team and are searching for a First-Year Apprentice. (Second-year apprentices will also be considered)
Apprentice Requirements and Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Chef, you will work alongside qualified chefs assisting in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. This position provides the opportunity to learn and build experiences within a commercial kitchen environment.
- No experience necessary
- Work well alone and as part of a small team
- Be enthusiastic about food

- Have a willingness to learn
- Be available weekends
- Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment appropriately
- You will learn the tricks of the trade and work with bigger quantities of food and a variety of seasonal ingredients
- Help prepare and cook dishes while training to be a full-time qualified chef
- Under supervision, you will operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, choppers, fryers, and learn different knife and cooking techniques
