AddressLa Perla in Camberwell is looking for an Apprentice Chef to join our team.
La Perla is a renowned Italian wood fired restaurant. With a commitment to delivering authentic and high-quality Italian cuisine, we're excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Chef. At La Perla, we believe in nurturing talent and providing a supportive environment for individuals to grow and develop their culinary skills.
Your main duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of meals.
- Training to learn procedures and duties in food preparation.
- Working under the supervision of the chef.
- Operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and stoves.
- Serves food when required.
- Kitchen cleaning, such as dish washing and equipment cleaning, sanitation.
- Assists in other areas of food preparation and storage.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for the food industry.
- Be punctual & reliable.
- Have flexibility to work different shifts.
- Be well presented.
