Mendham Engineering is a company established over 70 years ago and specialises in the repair and re-machining of all large engines including earthmoving and mining engines and also the repair and re-machining of other general earthmoving and mining machine components.
The apprenticeship would involve learning all facets of general machining on lathes and mills and also engine reconditioning machines. A huge variety of machining skills would be gained in this career.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
- A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering tradesperson
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Self-motivation with a positive work ethic
- Commitment to on and off the job training
- A willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Driver license and a reliable vehicle would be preferred
