Form of workKC Equipment Yatala currently have an opportunity for the right person to undertake a Mobile Plant Mechanic apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:
- Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipment.
- Assisting with root cause analysis investigations
- Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standards
- Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions
- Preparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
- A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering tradesperson
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Self-motivation with a positive work ethic
- Commitment to on and off the job training
- A willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Strong commitment to EHS
- Driver licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred
