KEY RELATIONSHIPS:InternalOur peopleExternalOur communityEMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
This position requires enrolment and study towards a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or equivalent as part of an AlburyCity traineeship. Enrolment will be organised by the Our People Team.
The study component of the course will be primarily completed outside standard working hours of the position. This position is for a temporary period of 4 years. This position is a formal Apprenticeship and is regulated by the Apprenticeship & Traineeship Act 2001.

Our People are required to present a smart and professional image to the public at all times including when in public and when working remotely. This position involves working a predominantly outdoor environment where a varying range of temperatures, weather conditions and walking surfaces may be experienced. A high level of physical activity will also be required in order to undertake the role.
The use of relevant work method statements and appropriate WHS standards are an integral part of the role. A full functional and medical assessment will be carried out for this position. This position will be provided with vaccination against the following infectious diseases:Hepatitis AHepatitis B This position is subject to alcohol and other drug testingThis position is subject to preemployment and ongoing audiometric (hearing) assessment in accordance with AlburyCity ProceduresThis position is located at the Landscape Services Depot, Smollet Street, Albury, with frequent visits to external sites/depots as required.
