The Position
To assist in maintaining mechanical and associated equipment relating to the supply of water and sewer services to Albury City.

AlburyCity Appreticeship Criteria:
To be considered eligible for this position:
- An applicant must not have 50% or more of the identified qualification or a similar or a higher industry qualification completed.
- The recruitment of an AlburyCity Apprentice is based on the assumption of no/limited industry skills or knowledge and is not based on age.
- Minimum completion of Year 10
- Class C (standard) Driver’s Licence, Provisional Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
Under direction assist in the following:
- Breakdown maintenance to all mechanical installations and related equipment
- Preventative maintenance activities
- Installation of new equipment
- Record keeping for Mechanical and Electrical equipment, including scheduled maintenance records and management systems
- Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
