Qualifications & experience
Alburycity Apprenticeship Criteria:
To be considered eligible for this position:
- An applicant must not have 50% or more of the identified qualification or a similar or a higher industry qualification completed.
- The recruitment of an AlburyCity Apprentice is based on the assumption of no/limited industry skills or knowledge and is not based on age.
- Minimum completion of Year 10
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence, Provisional Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
Under direction
- Perform general mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs to plant, motor vehicles and equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specified service regimes.
- Assist in the operation of a computerised fleet management system to manage Workshop maintenance and servicing activities.
- Ensure AlburyCity plant complies with all WHS regulations, legislation and associated requirements.
- Under direction, conduct roadworthy and safety inspections on plant, trucks and motor vehicles.
- Assist with all workshop related projects as directed by Supervisor.
- Assist in providing breakdown repairs to all plant, trucks, motor vehicles and equipment.
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
