The Role:
We are seeking an astute and enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join our team. This is a terrific opportunity where you will gain exposure in all areas of accounting.
Your range of duties include:
- Enter source documents into the NetSuite accounting program.
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Weekly payroll preparation
- Banking
- Reconciliation of invoices
- Month-end reconciliations of all control accounts
- Debtor follow-up
- BAS preparation
- Limited reporting
- Support the Business Administration Manager as required
- Other financial tasks as required
What will make you successful in this role:
- At least 2 years’ experience in NetSuite – highly desirable.
- Experience with Xero Payroll
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A punctual and reliable employee with strong initiative who is committed to their work
