RAC Auto Services is one of the largest automotive businesses in WA with over 9 owned and operated centres to choose from across the Perth metro area. We have an exciting and highly sought after First Year Apprentice opportunity to commence in Mandurah immediately. You will be responsible for: Attending and participating in all required training along with completion of logbooksDeveloping the ability to perform quality servicing and mechanical repairs to all types of vehicles under supervision and guidance of fully qualified Automotive TechniciansPreparing repair orders and capturing parts issuedMaintaining a safe work environment and cleanliness of the work bay/workshopGeneral administration dutiesReporting to the Team Leader, this role is offered on a four-year full-time contract basis - the term of your apprenticeship. These roles will start in February 2024. What are we looking for? A strong desire to pursue a career in mechanical with a keen interest in the automotive industry (light vehicle)An ability to learn in a workplace and classroom environmentDemonstrated team workProven reliability and punctualityEstablished flexibility, initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivationA positive, can do friendly attitudeSound customer service skillsA valid WA 'C' class driving licenceCert II Pre-Apprenticeship (desirable)This role requires flexibility to transfer to other centres when required along with a highly motivated, can do, team focussed attitude.
