This position will involve customer and supplier communication, research in various motor vehicles and automotive equipment, ordering, stock control and storage & assistance in invoicing and accounts.
Based at LMG Mitsubishi in Launceston and within state-of-the-art facilities, this apprenticeship combines a great range of on-the-job experience and structured theory elements to achieve a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Automotive Sales (AUR31020)
What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?- You would be employed by Work & Training – one of the largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted to LMG for the duration of your apprenticeship.
- You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
- The theory side of your qualification would be conducted at TasTAFE.
- Assist with stock control by ordering, receiving and dispatching parts and components.
- Become a skilled parts interpreter, anticipating the needs of, and assisting the Service Team.
- Expect to gain confidence and customer service skills with a wide range of duties.
- Develop your written and verbal communication, negotiation and inter-personal skills.
- Become adept in time management, priorities, and scheduling your workload.
- Learn how to prepare and compose documentation with accuracy.
- Customer service and / or experience in the automotive industry.
- Forklift licence
- Drivers licence (essential)
- National Apprenticeship Wage applies.
