Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship at South Walker Creek Coal Mine (35 Kms west from Nebo) will give you the opportunity to become a trade qualified and earn your Certificate III in Engineering – Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic.You will learn the ins and outs of and develop the skills to conduct diesel mechanical maintenance and repairs to mining vehicles, equipment and machinery.About YouYou will bring a passion for the trade and be willing to listen, learn and actively seek out new learning opportunities.Ability to work well in a teamYou will posses a good level of language, literacy and numeracy skills, A strong focus on safetyHave completed Year 12- with high grades in maths.
