The Role
The Apprenticeship Officer undertakes administrative and compliance related functions relating to the apprenticeship system, in accordance with Part 7 of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 (the Act), the associated Regulations and policies, as well as the strategic directions of the Department of Training and Workforce Development.
The Apprenticeship Officer provides support to the Coordinator Apprenticeship Officer. The role undertakes or assists with activities that support stakeholders within the apprenticeship system and uphold the integrity of the system.
As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.
