A unique opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic, committed individual seeking a Mechanical Fitting apprenticeship in the oil and gas industry.
Our client is a niche service provider for the oil and gas sector, with the successful applicant working alongside qualified tradespeople to prepare and modify intervention and completion components for oil and gas wells. The workshop is immaculately laid out for precision work, with skilled technicians overseeing its completion.
This role will be onshore based in Welshpool, however there may be the opportunity progress into an off-shore position.
To be successful for this role you will:
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or relevant right-to-work visa holder
- Have a can-do attitude with great communication skills and attention to detail
- Be committed to your on the job learning and formal off-the job training
- Possess strong safety awareness
- Hold, or be working towards holding, a current WA Driver’s licence
- Have the ability to pass and complete a vigorous 3-step onboarding process, which includes pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
- Ideally have a Mechanical Fitting/Engineering pre-apprenticeship
