Talent International is currently recruiting for an APS 3 Participant Support Officerto work for one of our Federal Government clients based in Lavington. The position is 8-month contract role with the possibility of extension.The role is paying $37.36/hour + Super.
7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week
This is a Front of House position that is based predominantly on site at the office location.
The role requires:
- Full time, Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day + 30 mins break
- Hours are between 8.00am - 6.00pm depending on the site's business requirements.
- Flexibility with your working arrangement - you must be able to work in the office and from home according to the site's business requirements for Front of House coverage. The agreed working arrangement will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
- The 'STAR' method is likely to be used during interview. Some research on how to apply this method is strongly suggested.
- The successful candidate will need to get a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- The successful candidate will need to hold an employee grade Working with Children Check
- The successful candidate will be required to complete virtual induction training.
- The APS3 Participant Support Officer role sits within our Centralised Workflow Team.
Within this team, there is the Implementation and Appointments teams. The Appointments team predominantly works on arranging and coordinating appointments nationally for NDIS participants. The Implementation team predominantly works on NDIS participant check ins, Request for Services and responding to inbound correspondence that comes via the National Call Centre. While there are 2 teams, they are not totally separate, and we promote a united team. The duties across all teams are similar yet require a diverse range of skills and knowledge. The Participant Support Officer role requires flexibility to switch between tasks and work items. Across the broad team, the role involves customer-facing Front of House duties as well as outgoing contact with participants and stakeholders on a daily basis via phone, email and face-to-face in the office, to assist with their enquiries, escalations and request tasks.
