A reputable federal government department based centrally on the Gold Coast is seeking an APS4 Budget Management Support Planner to join their team on a fixed term 12-month contract.
Your new role
As the APS4 Budget Management Support Planner, you will be responsible for providing additional support for participants to manage their plan within budget. Your duties will involve:
- Analysing participant records to make funding decisions to reduce overspending
- Working with participants and their representatives to identify circumstances and spending trends
- Database and records management
- Reviewing decisions and complex management case
- Completing administrative and data entry tasks
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as the APS4 Budget Management Support Planner, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally with a financial or budgeting background
- Exceptional customer service skills and the demonstrable ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work full time Monday - Friday
- Australian Citizenship is a must
