About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a BDM QLD / Operations support to join our tightly knit team who are committed to delivering outcomes on time, every time. In this role you will be working directly with our QLD State Sales Manager and taking direction to achieve the KPIs set for the state, The energetic role is not limited to Business Development as you will find yourself involved in all aspects of the business operations and problem solving. You will be dedicated, have excellent organisational skills with high focus and will need to take ownership of the responsibilities assigned to you.
Some of major duties include;
- Achieve the State based strategies supplied by State Sales Manager (SSM) on revenue and profit
- Report to SSM on performance evaluations, control sales and service programs
- Provide, support and coaching to employees to empower sales leads
- Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
- Adhere to pricing disciplines and rates set by the company
- Adhere to sales policies and procedures
- Adhere to prepared budgets
- Assist and report to Lion HO on inventory conflicts, forecast any changes foreseen
- Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
- Monitoring stop credit list and ensuring collection of monies and adhering to the process in place for accounts on hold
- Communicate with SSM on customer, priority, delivery dates
- Ad hoc customer deliveries
- Stock take (when requested by SSM)
