Join our team as an APS 4 Level Analytical Services Analyst, based in North Ryde Sydney NSW where you'll play a crucial role in conducting chemical and biological measurements on various samples, aiding in the maintenance of Australia's measurement system.
Your main responsibility will be the analysis of Organic semi volatile and volatile contaminants in environmental samples.
This laboratory-based role requires expertise in environmental sample extraction techniques and Gas Chromatography (GC), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our measurement processes.

About You:
Tertiary qualifications in a scientific field (chemistry or equivalent)
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in environmental sample analysis
Proficiency in operating Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometers (GCMS and GCMSMS)
Strong understanding of QA/QC protocols and NATA accreditation standards
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated initiative, judgement, and accountability in conducting sample analysis
