Key Responsibilities:
- You'll be responsible for assessing and monitoring complaints and regulatory intelligence over calls
- Handling a caseload of complaints related to the provision of supports and services by the Department, including complex matters, and escalating incidents for investigation when necessary.
- Keeping an eye out for trends and issues by overseeing and reviewing complaints received by the Department, providing valuable advice on emerging matters.
- Completing assessments of complaints and regulatory intelligence to high-quality standards within agreed timeframes.
- Offering education and training to providers on incident identification, prevention, and response, thus fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Developing and nurturing strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and effective functioning of the Department.
- Crafting complex and sensitive correspondence and corporate documentation, including reports, briefings and submissions.
Required skills and experience:
- Must be an Australian Citizen and based out of Perth, WA.
- Demonstrated experience in answering calls, showcasing excellent communication skills, empathy and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance, complaints management or similar roles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and sensitivity towards individuals.
