- Assessing and monitoring complaints or reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligence
- Managing a caseload of complaints or reportable incidents.
- Assessing and escalating cases for investigation and other action.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including other governmental/ regulatory bodies, and service providers.
- Providing education and training to providers in relation to identifying incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse and neglect of people with disability.
- Prepare complex and/ or sensitive reports, documentation, briefings and submissions.
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles.
- Experience with disability, regulatory bodies and government are highly advantageous.
- An understanding of vicarious trauma which may occur through conversations with providers and participants and/or when reading documentation where distressing information may be disclosed.
