In response to the Australian Government developing a nationwide naval shipbuilding enterprise the Future Maritime Sustainment Model is being implemented to realise Plan Galileo; Maritime System Division’s national, long term approach to sustainment of the naval fleet.
Regional Maintenance Centre (RMC) North is located in Darwin and will provide capability support to the Royal Australian Navy. The focus of this organisation will be on enhanced collaboration, co-ordination, workforce development and expansion to build the capability and capacity needed to meet increasing ship maintenance demands.RMC North is dedicated to the continued professional development of its staff and you can expect to enhance your skills through additional formal training. An APS 5Security Advisor will have demonstrated understanding of and experience in Defence security policy, procedures and controls. They will interpret and provide advice within the Physical Security function based on legislation, policy and procedures.
