About the role:

We are seeking APS 5/6 Data Analysts who excel in data collection, analysis, collaboration, and enhancing data governance.

For APS 5/6 Data Engineers, expertise in transitioning data to cloud infrastructure, Power BI development, and ensuring data reliability through ETL and cloud-based analytics is crucial.

This role is based in Canberra, offering 3 days of office and 2 days of work from home. 

Duties:

Data Analysts are duties with:

• • Collecting, processing, and analysing data from various sources.
  • Producing reports, briefs, and other documents for diverse audiences.
  • Providing technical advice and expertise on data analytics.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of data principles.
  • Assisting in achieving organisational objectives.

Data Engineers are duties with: 

• Managing data from various internal and external sources.
• Overseeing automation and documentation tasks.
• Performing data extraction and manipulation based on user requirements.
• Designing and developing end-to-end optimised data pipelines.
• Maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.

Required experience/skills:

For Data Analysts: 

• • Collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources.
  • Producing reports, briefs, and other documents for diverse audiences.
  • Providing technical advice and expertise on data analytics.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of data principles.
  • Assisting in achieving organizational objectives.

For Data Engineers:

• • Experience in managing data from diverse sources.
  • Proficiency in automation and documentation tasks.
  • Strong data extraction and manipulation skills.
  • Expertise in designing and developing data pipelines.
  • Experience in maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
