Aps 6 Content Designer

Are you a dynamic Content Designer ready to make a significant impact on the Australian job landscape?
Exciting opportunity for an APS 6 Content Designer to join a highly regarded Federal Government Agency. You will contribute to a large-scale project, supporting the ongoing development and administration of content for the website.
This is initially a labour hire contract through to the end of June, with the potential for a 12 month extension. Full time position, standard 8 hour day, 40 hours per week. This role is open to candidates nationally, with flexible working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis. Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline clearance essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the publication of content on the Agency's website
• Write and edit web content in line with the Digital Transformation Agency's style manual
• Process website publishing requests, liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Contribute to the development and implementation of content governance documents, resources, and processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to deliver a fit-for-purpose digital product

In addition to demonstrated capability in web content development through previous employment experience, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following Skills and Capabilities:

• Demonstrated website content development and publishing skills
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and editing documents related to the publishing process
• Ability to provide administration support, including mailbox management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Conceptual and analytical skills, including data interpretation
• Knowledge of HTML (desirable)
• Experience using GovCMS or other content management systems for web publishing
• Understanding of web accessibility requirements and WCAG 2.1
• Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications in project management beneficial
• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline clearance essential
