As an APS 6Integrated Logistics Officer, you will be part of an integrated team of Logistics Specialists to deliver complex logistics systems and inventory management work within an integrated workforce. You will provide reliable professional advice and outcomes, utilising outstanding stakeholder management skills and expertise to ensure the fundamental logistic information and policy is developed to meet capability requirements. MEOSPO is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB), which is part of the new Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division (GWEODD). Our Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities:Our ideal candidate would have a strong commitment to working with the team and a broad range of stakeholders to meet our legal and other regulatory requirements in the acquisition or sustainment of Explosive Ordnance (EO).The right person for this role will be an individual who is capable of working under broad direction and in accordance with established priorities, principles, methodology and work practices.You need to collaborate effectively in a logistics team, as well as optimising internal and external stakeholder relationships, in order to develop and maintain a detailed and logical plan to support the delivery of the required capability portfolio.The candidate would have an understanding of Integrated Logistic principles and be able to quickly understand the sustainment of EO and utilise inventory management systems.The candidate would also be an innovator and be prepared to look at ways in which we can do our work more efficiently. You may also have staff management responsibilities.The candidate should be able to interpret specific legislation and regulations and be able to apply that knowledge to the ongoing management of EO.
