The Position
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Analyst will perform logistic-engineering analysis and OPUS10 modelling activities required for the development of customer delivered sparing solutions; drafting Recommended Provisioning Lists for review by the ILS Engineer. The Analysist will compile codification data packages, containing engineering drawings and data sheets, for the CEA supply support team to perform codification and cataloguing functions. The Analyst will prepare Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, Complete Equipment Schedule Lists and Repair Parts Identification Lists for submission to the Commonwealth.
The role is responsible for:
- Performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities for complex Mission Systems using Systecon OPUS10 software to develop optimised spares recommendations for Repairable Items.
- Drafting Recommended Provisioning List (RPL) reports for review by the ILS Engineer.
- Compiling Codification Data (CDATA) packages for the CEA Supply Support team to perform codification and cataloguing functions, providing technical advice and guidance where required.
- Preparing Technical Publication content for customer delivery in accordance with style guides, including Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IBP), Complete Equipment Schedule Lists (CESL) and Repair Parts Identification Lists (RPIL).
Essential
- Demonstrated ability to develop support system models using Systecon OPUS10 software (or similar life cycle management software packages)
- Relevant logistics-engineering competencies and experience in acquisition or sustainment organisations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, in particular quality review of documentation.
- Advanced OPUS10 competency or experience - Highly desirable
- MILIS proficiencies in the area of codification and cataloguing - Highly desirable
- Defence logistics experience (commercial or uniform) - Highly desirable
Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must be:
- An Australian Citizen
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - NV1
The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain a clearance prior to commencement.
