The Provider Assurance and Support Section forms part of the Program Delivery Division. The Provider Assurance subsection is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of assurance activities for DVA’s providers of healthcare programs within the Program Delivery Division. The program of work incorporates risk and data analysis to prepare and implement an annual review cycle, developing and refining the supporting assurance framework and analysing data assets for the purpose of assurance activities.The
Senior Program Officer will provide high level administrative, program and governance support to the Provider Assurance subsection.
Duties- Contribute to the objectives of the Provider Assurance Section by providing high level administrative, governance and stakeholder engagement support.
- Provide strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workflows and competing priorities in an environment characterised by change.
- Assist with the coordination of day to day operations, including ad hoc and section activities to support the achievement of section outcomes.
- Maintain reporting and work flow analysis functions to support the business area in its daily activities and suggesting improvement where appropriate.
- Draft briefing papers, correspondence, reports, presentation and other ad-hoc materials to ensure the timely provision of high quality reporting activities.
- Assist with drafting of team artefacts, communication material and templates and the subsequent updating of such documents.
- Produce, maintain and manage accurate records in line with records management policies.
- Undertaking other duties as required.
Eligibility
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
