- Lead Project Development: Take charge of developing and delivering a portfolio of projects. Leverage resources to maximize efficiencies and achieve desired outcomes.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project development, implementation, and closure across a portfolio of change projects. This includes preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating, and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Monitor and Evaluate: Implement strategies and tools for continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects. This includes risk and contingency management, benefits realization, and assessing project impact and quality measures to identify and address issues and assess project progress and overall effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Lead the project team, both internal and external, to deliver all key project milestones and outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder relationships through the provision of expert advice, effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met.
- Influence and Advise: Demonstrate an ability to influence key stakeholders, groups, or individuals while maintaining productive relationships. Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives, and other project priorities.
- Ethical Behavior: Demonstrate ethical behavior and integrity as required by the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994.
- Comfortably dealing with uncertainty and risk to make quality decisions regardless of constraints such as limited information available.
- Making good decisions that can be publicly upheld, based on analysis of available information and the application of sound judgment to forecast decision outcomes and manage risk.

- Be subject to a criminal history check and/or probity check during the selection process. The recommended applicant will be required to disclose any previous serious disciplinary action.
