As a Team Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership across payroll assurance and customer service functions; ensuring the achievement of people, quality and business priorities.
You will:
- Lead and develop a large team, accountable for setting and managing workflows aligned with the organisations vision, mission and business outcomes.
- Take responsibly for the wellbeing of your team, achieving positive outcomes in a hybrid working environment.
- Be curious and seek to understand, support and communicate the reasons for decisions and recommendations.
- Have a depth of experience developing team capability and confidence through coaching, feedback, and encouraging team members to be the ’best they can be’ whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
- Have considerable stakeholder engagement and management skills, liaising with stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
- Identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve business, Defence and Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) outcomes.
- Exercise initiative and judgement in interpreting policy and applying practices and procedures in support of a large Human Resource System.
- Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.
- Be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
- Lead and champion change in the workplace.
