Our client is currently seeking APS3 Participant Support Officer’s to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Murray Bridge. National Delivery is responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage the operating functions of the NDIS, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent participant experiences. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks.Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.Interrogating the NDIA Business system to identify appropriate actions.Supporting planning teams by actioning planning tasks that do not require delegation.Undertaking a range of data entry activities.Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven work experience in a similar roleExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a varied fast-paced environment.Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable. This role is at the APS3 level equivalent offering $37.36 per hour + super. The rate of pay is casually loaded, as you will not be accruing annual or sick leave.
