As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. A new role awaitsAre you looking for a position where you are making a difference to the lives of thousands of Australians? The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has an opportunity to do exactly that as a member of the Technical Advice and Practice Improvement Branch (TAPIB).
The TAPIB sits within the Operations, Performance and Capability Division in Service Delivery. The TAPIB provides specialist technical and clinical advice in relation to complex and novel supports, and plays a critical role in Practice Improvement to support and build capability of NDIA staff.
The APS4 Business Analyst is responsible for responding to data requests, preparing accurate reports relating to Branch performance, operational trends, strategic initiatives and deliver within timeframes.
Where you can add valueAs APS4 Business Analyst you will have a key role in providing operational support through data capture, analysis, report development and insights reporting. This role includes:
- Using technical expertise to develop and enhance automated dashboard reporting.
- Working in a dynamic environment and maintaining high levels of productivity to deliver consistent, accurate and timely reporting and insights.
- Supporting Quality Assurance processes across the Branch.
- Supporting staff training on key internal and Agency data management systems.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Data Visualisation tools.
- Experience in analysing and designing reports to facilitate data-enabled decision making.
- Ability to competently use IT systems such as Power BI, PACE and Microsoft Excel.
- High levels of productivity, resourcefulness, flexibility and effective communication skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

While this role is ideally performed from VIC - Geelong, SA - Adelaide, NSW - Paramatta, QLD - Brisbane, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
