The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.

Looking for a rewarding career opportunity that combines your passion for helping others with your professional skills? We have an exciting new opportunity to join the NDIA within the Marketing Communications Branch as the APS5 Digital Delivery Officer.

The Marketing Communications Branch develop strategic and impactful marketing, communication, and digital solutions, informed by market research and insights. The goal of the Branch is to proactively engage with the Scheme and drive behaviour change through inclusive and timely marketing and communication efforts.

Where you can add value

As a Digital Delivery Officer you will support the website redevelopment team. You will manage engagements and user testing with a diverse cohort of web users to ensure the Agency delivers an innovative, digitally inclusive, accessible and easy to use website.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting, collecting, and reviewing qualitative research and organising and facilitating UX workshops internally and externally with stakeholders, identifying needs, goals and challenges for the NDIS website redevelopment project.
  • Conducting quantitative research, including data analysis using Google Analytics, SEM Rush, social data, CRM data and email data, validating findings from the qualitative research.
  • Supporting synthesis of the findings from the qualitative and qualitative research phases, gaining insight into user behaviour and make recommendation for improving the website.

Knowledge and understanding of Case Google Analytics, SEM Rush, social data, CRM data and email data alongside experience leading, organising and facilitating UX workshops will be desirable. While this role is ideally performed from NSW Surry Hills, VIC Geelong, VIC Richmond, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
