The Fraud Fusion Taskforce has been established to improve payment integrity in the Agency and other government programs and payments by preventing or reducing fraud and criminal activity (including serious organized crime and systemic fraud). The Taskforce enables intelligence sharing, identification and response by the Agency and its partner agencies, including law enforcement and regulators.The Fraud Fusion Taskforce Intelligence Analytics Branch leads the gathering and analysis of integrity information for the purpose of providing intelligence to Agency management and recommending solutions to reduce the risk of fraud and serious non-compliance to the Agency. This includes strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence, maintaining the fraud risk library, detection analytics, and fraud tip-offs.About the RoleThe APS5 Integrity Support Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work.The position is required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to Agency’s objectives.The APS5 Integrity Support Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organizing their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide guidance on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in project management and coordination activities, monitoring, and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
- Contributing to the development and management of the Fraud Vector Library and the divisional reporting framework.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of team project work.
- Performing research and analysis work including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant team project activities.
- Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation for review.
- Assisting with the identification and management of project risks, issues, and benefits. Collaborating with team members to achieve program, project, and business outcomes.
