Ministerial Complaints / Compliance Officer

Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking (9) talented Ministerial Complaints / Compliance Officer to join their busy team for an 12-month temporary assignment.About the role:As a Ministerial Complaints / Compliance Officer, you will communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries. In addition, key duties include:

• Managing complaints coming into the agency
• Assessing, recording, resolving and referring as required
• Managing escalated complaints and working to strict deadlines
• Drafting and sending high quality written correspondence
• Coordinating correspondence, briefing and reporting functions

About you:

• Previous experience in a complaints, compliance, or dispute resolution roles
• Background working in Ministry Offices and Parliamentary Branch within Government will be highly regarded
• Ability to manage a high caseload of work, meet deadlines and prioritise work in line with risk and complaint due dates.
• Strong communication skills - both over the phone and written
• High attention to detail
• Excellent data entry and record keeping skills

• Guaranteed full time hours - Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day
• Richmond or Geelong VIC location
• Multiple positions available

• APS5: $55.24per hour + super
• APS6: $60.26 per hour + super
