Your new company
Hays are working with a Federal Government organisation based centrally who are currently seeking an experienced APS6 Senior Property/Facilities Officer or APS5 Property/Facilities Officer to join their team, initially for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
- Operational management of a team of Property Officers nationally, with limited direction from the Assistant Director (APS6)
- Manage property and corporate support related to procurement in compliance with Commonwealth Procurement directions
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal and external service providers and stakeholders
- Provide high level administrative advice and support, including facilities and property maintenance and reporting, security pass management, communications and general correspondence
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of facilities and property management services
- Knowledge of commonwealth procurement and contract management
- Well-developed judgement and decision-making skills
- Well-developed high level administrative service and support
- You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
- Standard full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week
- Attractive hourly rate – dependent on experience ranging between $50-$70 p/h + super
- Office based centrally
- Flexible working arrangement available
