The role duties The officers will be required to support purchasing exercises by: ? assistance with conformance ?assessing tender responses ? preparing and/or reviewing a variety of written reports and products, such as debrief reports ? general support for phases within purchasing activities ?performing administrative tasks as appropriate to the position classification. The ideal applicants would have the following skills and experience: ? strong analytical skills (and experience with detailed assessment of reports or documentation) and high-level judgement and decision-making skills ?well-developed verbal and written communication skills (such as editing skills), including an ability to develop and deliver constructive feedback on tender responses ? strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, an ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure ? a desire to learn and the ability to take guidance and constructive feedback ?prior experience with large scale purchasing activities.
