Are you a highly skilled Rehabilitation / Performance Case Manager with a wealth of Australian Federal Government experience?
This is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced and skilled Rehabilitation / Performance Case Manager to promote early intervention and rehabilitation processes to both managers and employees alike. This role works to ensure early identification of injured or ill employees whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement for injury and rehabilitation management processes and strategies. Cases being managed by this individual will include performance and behavioural matters, attendance, complaints, and code of conduct matters.
Role Responsibilities:
- Promoting early intervention and rehabilitation processes to managers and employees to ensure early identification of injured or ill employees.
- Coordination and ongoing management of non-compensation and compensation rehabilitation matters and escalation to the Assistant Director as required.
- Maintaining case notes using electronic records and electronic filing systems.
- Providing regular case updates to supervisors and provide updates to Assistant Director as required.
- Actively contributing and complying with the Rehabilitation Management Systems (RMS) and procedures.
- Providing advice to managers, supervisors, and employees in relation to rehabilitation and return to work activities including medical reviews, independent medical assessments, and other complex HR matters.
- Ensuring documented procedures and policies are adhered to and that workplace rehabilitation providers are managed in accordance with the Occupational Rehabilitation & Associated Medical Service standards.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement for injury and rehabilitation management processes and strategies and provide high-level service delivery.
Candidate “Must-Have’s”:
- A relevant qualification or background in Human Resources, Rehabilitation Case Management or Performance Case Management is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in Rehabilitation Case Management or Performance Case Management in the Commonwealth jurisdiction is essential.
- Confidence & etiquette in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work with limited supervision under direction of the Assistant Director
Completion of Comcare’s Rehabilitation Case Management First Steps and Rehabilitation Case Management Fundamentals training will be highly regarded.
