On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for APS6 Social Media Officer to join the Media Branch. This is a 12-month assignment and can be based in Richmond or Geelong. The role will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day and will be paying $60.26 per hour plus super.
Responsibilities include;
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on performance and trends across various Social Media platforms, identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing Social Media strategies that align with the agency priorities.
- Contributing towards the management of the day-to day operations of the agency Social Media platforms, including content sourcing, calendar creation, scheduling, posting, and monitoring.
- Coordinating the delivery of a targeted Social Media advertising strategy.
- Leading Social Media intelligence gathering and identify opportunities for information sharing.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Implemented targeted Social Media advertising campaigns to enhance outreach and engagement.
- Applied analytics tools to assess performance metrics and refine Social Media strategies.
- Managed end-to-end processes including content sourcing, calendar creation, scheduling, posting, and monitoring of engagement.
- Produced compelling content tailored to various Social Media platforms.
- Experience using Hootsuite platform will be highly desirable.
