Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that is dedicated to delivering quality specialist Alcohol and Drug Treatment, Housing and Homeless and other services to meet the needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) People and their families. The Job
The Marketing & Promotional Officer is responsible for positively promoting Ngwala and overseeing the implementation of marketing plan and promoting the association. This role also will be responsible for driving our Digital Communications and Social Media strategy across our service and corporate programmes working under the direction of our Business Manager.
Tasks will include:
Digital Design
- Responsible for the design and production of internal promotional materials, advertising and signage
- Distributing product samples, brochures, flyers for approval
- Maintaining alumni relationships with board and staff
- Take ownership of design projects and design page layouts and templates.
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for services on multiple media channels٫ including Social Media٫ print٫ and otherwise.
- Develop and maintain consistent branding
Web Design
- responsible for designing the overall layout and aesthetic for websites. Their duties include coding webpages or entire websites
- Conceptualise unique website design ideas that are simple and user-friendly.
- Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, storyboards, and site maps.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final stage.
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for services on Website
- Identifying and fixing functionality issues
Social Media
- Develop and maintain ongoing content for our Social Media channels, utilising a Social Media calendar to ensure success of the channels.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to promote success of activities that will enhance the company's presence.

Your Skills & Experience
- You have a great attitude and passion for Social Media and digital marketing
- You have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- You are self-motivated and eager to learn
- You are a creative thinker and a team player
- You have knowledge of photography and videography, as well as design skills (on programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro/Final Cut Pro)
- You are an active Social Media user who LOVES being online.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- National Police Certificate
- Current Victorian Working With Children’s Check
