The Role
The Town is seeking a qualified Aquatic Duty Manager to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Aquatic Duty Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Town of Port Hedland’s Aquatic Team to oversee the day to day operations of the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gatwick Aquatic Centre. Working in partnership with the Coordinator of Aquatic Operations and Aquatic Supervisor, this role will be responsible for operating the Town’s facilities in accordance with the Council policy and Department of Health regulations, providing a safe and engaging environment for our guest.

Our ideal applicant will have excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and have a proactive attitude. You will also be required to hold the following qualifications:
- Operate a Group 1 Aqautic Facility
- Current First Aid.
- Lifeguard Award
- LIWA Aquatics Accreditation (or willing to obtain)
- Operate breathing Apparatus qualifications (or willing to obtain)
- WA Working with Children Card (or willing to apply)

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current ‘C’ class drivers license
