ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Arboriculture Team Member, you will play a vital role contributing to the wellbeing of your own community, preserving and enhancing its natural beauty by delivering quality tree maintenance services across the region. Bass Coast Shire Council recognises the importance of promoting local character and distinctiveness through tree retention, quality landscaping and sustainable tree planting.
You will be involved in:
- Planting, pruning and removal of trees in streetscapes, parks, and reserves,
- EWP operation for tree pruning and arboricultural maintenance activities,
- Reactive works including the removal of fallen or damaged trees following emergency events, including work outside normal business hours as required.
This position in a temporary 6 month opportunity, primarily based out of the Cowes Depot but you will be required to work from various locations across the municipality.
ABIT ABOUT YOU:
If you have a certificate in Arboriculture or relevant skills and experience, hold a traffic management ticket and medium/heavy rigid truck license and possess a great work ethic and attitude, we would like to hear from you.
