AddressOur client in the architecture industry is seeking a Draftsperson with preferred skills and knowledge of ArchiCad. The company has a strong presence locally, designing residential and commercial facilities. They are committed to the creation of unique and innovative design solutions that respond to each client's aesthetic and budgetary needs.
As a Draftsperson, your primary role will be to support the team in all phases of projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation. You will collaborate closely with architects and other stakeholders to bring designs to life and ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural drawings using ArchiCAD and other relevant software.
- Participate in in-house and on-site meetings with clients and consultants as needed.
- Deliver exceptional service experiences that exceed client expectations.
- Assist team members and management with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings.
- Advanced skills in ArchiCAD, with experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit being advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.
- Familiarity with planning codes, Australian Standards, and the Building Code of Australia/National Construction Code (BCA/NCC).
- Exceptional visual awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- This position is to be based in the Mildura office.
