You will:

• Hold a Diploma in Building Design and Technology or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of local building construction and regulations specifically the National Construction Code of Australia and Residential Design Codes.
• Be actively involved in all aspects of the drafting process: sketch development, planning approval, building licence and construction documentation.
• Be highly competent in Revit. Strong AutoCAD knowledge also ideal.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other team members to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback into drawings.
• Undertake partial or full documentation, specifications and schedules of projects.
• Conduct research on materials, building systems, and construction techniques to inform design decisions and ensure feasibility.
• Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to integrate their input into design drawings and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the design process.
• Permanent Work Rights (No restrictions) in Australia.
