The Internship Program is designed to help architecture students in Australia get first-hand industry experience and grow practical professional skills whilst interning with local companies.
The Architecture Internship Program is a good option if you want industry work experience and need academic credit for the internship. The program is open to both international and domestic students in Australia.
If you have graduated already or your degree has no internship component, you can enrol in the Internship Program and combine your internship placement with the accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.
To give you a few examples, the internship host companies include:- A company that specialises in residential, cultural and commercial designs
- A design and project management firm
- An established architectural service specialising in town planning.
- Assisting and learning from architects about developing design concepts and preparing drawings, renderings, and presentations for client projects.

- Researching materials, building codes, sustainability practices, and architectural trends to support project development.
- Learning about project coordination, including site and client visits.
