AddressThe Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking an Area Manager with exceptional leadership capabilities to manage our high performing Laverton North and Dandenong branches, undergoing significant growth.
This role involves multi-site leadership, ensuring safe operations and managing a large and growing portfolio. You will be a proven sales and manufacturing leader who can successfully drive sales performance, prioritising safety, and streamlining operations across both locations.
As an experienced leader, operating at what would be a mini General Manager or multi site Operations Manager level, you will have the opportunity to make your mark on what is essentially the inception process of a growth project.
The priorities of the role include:
- Senior leadership of Operational, Distribution and Sales staff, promoting a high-performing culture
- Coaching and developing team members through structured succession planning and career development and training
- Collaborate with other Area, Operations and Regional Leaders to identify areas for process improvement
- Champion a strong safety culture
- P&L, EBIT & financial reporting responsibility
- Customer facing for major key accounts
You will be a strategic leader with an innovative mindset, proficient in problem-solving and effective communication skills. As an Area Manager, you must prioritise fostering a strong safety culture, emphasizing customer focus, and demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach.
To be successful in this role you will also be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in senior leadership, tertiary qualifications preferred, not essential
- Industry experience within reinforcing, building products, construction or industrial manufacturing
- Implementation of a high-performance culture across multiple branches
- Proven track record driving effective sales processes with major accounts
- Change management experience
