The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.A new role awaitsThe People Strategy and Workforce Planning Branch is seeking an experienced EL1 Workforce Planning and Organisational Management to join their team.The People Strategy and Workforce Planning Branch leads the development of the NDIA’s people, culture and wellbeing strategies and delivers Workforce Planning support and people analytics. The branch uses innovative technology solutions to improve the way the Agency supports staff, managers and leaders through people, culture and wellbeing servicesWhere you can add value You will be a highly skilled and experienced individual in Workforce Planning and Organisational Management at EL1 level. You will play a key role in strategic Workforce Planning, talent management and Organisational development initiatives within the Agency.You will have experience in leading a small to medium team and be influential with your leadership skills and stakeholder engagement.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Providing Workforce Planning and Reporting support to the Agency
  • Managing the Agency’s positions (the Establishment) including position creations, deletions, and maintenance, ensuring positional attributes are correctly recorded and maintained.
  • Managing job titles in line with the APSC job family framework.
  • Managing and processing internal position movements.
  • Managing the Agency’s Organisational structure within the HR system and completing restructure activities.
Enough about us, let’s talk about youYou will have demonstrated experience in Workforce Planning, and Organisational Management and development. You will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. You will be an excellent communicator and have exemplary stakeholder management skills. While this role is ideally performed from Geelong - VIC, remote working arrangements may be considered.
