WHO WE NEED

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Area Manager to join our team and manage a Commercial and Aged Care Cleaning portfolio across the Northern Beaches area of Sydney.

Your primary focus will be to manage the day-to-day cleaning operations of aged care and independent living facilities within the Northern Beaches Area of Sydney, ensuring excellent service delivery to our clients across the portfolio. You will supervise a high performing team through solid delegation, coaching and leadership capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Managing the service delivery and performance of daily cleaning operations across a portfolio of commercial and aged care sites.
  • Provide strong leadership, training and support to your teams so they are empowered to do their best.
  • Build and maintain effective and lasting client relationships.
  • Be client focused ensuring residents can enjoy a high level of cleanliness and excellent customer service.
  • Driving adherence to performance standards across the portfolio in accordance with SOP’s, policies and service expectations.
  • Ensure rosters are prepared to modern award and budgetary requirements.
  • Implementing initiatives to drive a high performing and safe work environment.
  • Provide regular reporting and operational analytics.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience managing cleaning teams across multiple sites is essential.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience in an aged care environment preferred.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Current Police Check.
  • To have received 2 Covid-19 vaccinations and a current influenza vaccination.
  • Proven success in leading and developing a high performing team.
  • Strong understanding of commercial cleaning equipment and processes, chemical handling, and WHS requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the Cleaning Services Award highly regarded however, not essential.
  • Very high attention to detail, time management and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate your team and empower them to deliver the highest standards.
  • Good presentation, communication skills and a fluency in English.
