As an Area Manager, you will lead all OOHC programs and teams across your assigned region, ensuring service quality, risk management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilitie
Program Management:
- Oversee all aspects of serviced programs in your region.
- Ensure all funding and accreditation requirements are met.
- Oversee client referrals, assessment, intake, and allocation within the OOHC Program.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, contractual requirements, WHS standards, and internal policies.
- Manage programs within approved budgets.
- Manage and mitigate risks for young people and employees.
- Maintain appropriate records for each client in adherence to compliance standards.
- Provide effective leadership to direct reports including monthly supervision, PDPs, coaching, and development.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve goals and enhance employee engagement.
- Communicate relevant information effectively to employees and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement training programs in collaboration with the Practice team & People team.
- Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment and culture.
- Lead practice through working groups, training, and supervision.
- Lead and instil a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance client experiences and service offerings.
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years in a senior management role.
- Experience working with young people in the Specialist Homelessness Service System and/or Out of Home Care.
- Experience in implementing change and managing conflicting priorities.
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
- Knowledge of trauma and its impact on young people.
- Understanding of government and non-government funding bodies.
- Current Working with Children’s Check and willingness to undergo Police Check.
- Current NSW Driver’s License.
