Job description

About the role! 

This is a fulltime role (7.30am-5pm) working as part of an energetic, exciting sales & marketing team. The purpose of this role is to develop, expand and generate new business in view of driving sales growth and market share. This involves performing sales and marketing activities to new and existing customers and markets.

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients and markets
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships through phone, face to face and online meetings
  • Plan and execute relevant customer face to face appointments with new and/or existing clients (approx. 2 days/week)
  • Other Business Development phone and appointment campaigns as required
  • Prepare, send, and follow through sales proposals and presentations
  • Utilise CRM system to ensure that tasks are managed and completed in a timely manner and activities are recorded accurately
  • Report on weekly, monthly & quarterly sales & KPI performance

About you!

  • Enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Experience in outbound telephone sales and face to face appointments – preferably B2B
  • Experience in selling to local government and/or the facilities management industry is an advantage 
  • Ability to learn and retain product information
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets including KPIs
  • Ability to close large sale deals individually and as a team
  • Meet attendance requirements and work without constant supervision
  • Be well presented and reliable with honest work ethic
  • Have excellent communication, organisational, multi-tasking and time management abilities
  • Experience NetSuite ERP program is an advantage
  • Be flexible with a can-do, positive attitude
  • Produce accurate and quality work, with a great attention to detail.
  • Effectively prioritise work and meet required deadlines.
